New/Lost Backlinks:

This graph represents how many backlinks you have recently lost and achieved. This helps you measure the backlink's performance easily.

Usually, losing a few backlinks isn’t alarming because web pages keep on going up and down but if you see a major hike in lost backlinks then you need to start focusing on what backlinks you exactly lost and why.

On the other hand, when you see a jump in new backlinks, look for those newly added backlinks. Sometimes, you are added to a global navigation or footer on a website/blog which results in 1000s of new backlinks but they hurt your reputation in the long run. So look out whenever you see a jump in new backlinks.

New/Lost Referring Domains:

These are the domains that are pointing to your website. SEO experts still prefer to focus on increasing the referring domain instead of backlinks.

Getting link juice from the same domain isn’t gonna help much so your ultimate focus should be to increase New referring domains.

Try to keep an eye on the lost referring domains cause it might hurt the rankings of the pages that were linked or you might notice a drop in your DA/DR.
